DUTIES >>
Performs accounting activities such as, maintenance of the general ledger including accounting entries and reconciliations as well as preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Payroll professional with experience in processing weekly & bi-weekly payroll, including disability payments and final checks.

SKILLS >>
Ability to perform reconciliations and balance accounts, variance analysis, 10-key by touch. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experiences and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks. A working knowledge of Word, Excel and PeopleSoft is essential. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Highly motivated individual with strong customer service skills. Must have ability to handle high volume payroll desk and meet all critical payroll deadlines.

EDUCATION >>
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Requires 3 to 5 years payroll experience working with weekly and bi-weekly payroll for large corporation. Must have excel knowledge and strong understanding of Federal and State regulations as it pertains to payroll processing.
